It says RB-2 on the fret block and it is dated May 6, 1978 on the inside of the resonator.
I have owned it for a few years. It was previously owned and played by Howie Specter (aka Howie Blues, a Bay Area Musician / Collector & Personality) who was kind enough to sell it to me as I admired the detailed workmanship and sound of this archtop. I don't know any of the owners of this before Howie acquired it, but if I find anything, I will forward it along. As others have said before, this thing is really loud! I love the fingerboard inlays and the finger stop behind the nut.
